Kenneth Lane Hightower
Graveside services for Kenneth Lane Hightower, age 71 of Dodson, La. will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hammons officiating.
Ken was born March 26, 1936 in Ruston La. After receiving a degree in 1960 from Louisiana Tech, he taught school in Winn Parish for 26 years, and for 4 years in Houma, La. Ken was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kennie and Ruby Hightower; brother, Charles Lanier Hightower; and beloved wife, Connie Jones Hightower.
Survivors include his two sons, Phillip Hightower and wife Tonia and children, of Jonesboro, La.;
Mark Hightower and wife Nancy and children of Lumberton, Miss.;
Sister, Dorothy Rochelle and husband Bruce of Jonesboro, La.
In-Laws, Roger and Shirley Jones of Winnfield, La.
Brother-In-Law Jimmy Jones and wife Heather
Nephews, Luke and David Jones
