Funeral Pending For Victim Of Auto Accident

PFC Kenneth Cain, 20, of Monroe, was killed along with two companions in an automobile accident near Ft. Sheridan, Illinois, where all three were stationed in the U.S. Army.

Funeral services were incomplete late Sunday night for the 1965 graduate of Ouachita Parish High School, pending arrival of the body from Ft. Sheridan.

The Rev. G. E. Chance will officiate at the military funeral, to be held in the first United Pentecostal Church, 1800 Parkview Dr., Monroe. Burial will be in the Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Monroe.

After arrival in Monroe, the body will be in the funeral home until one hour before services.

Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Verna Lee Cain; his father, Robert L. Cain; one sister, Judy Cain; one brother, Charles Ray Cain; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Rolen and Mrs. Leona Meredity [sic Meredith], all of Monroe; and Mrs. Maggie Cox of Grayson.
