Kenneth Lightfoot Dies of Long Illness
Funeral for Kenneth Ray Lightfoot, who died Monday night in a local hospital on the eve of his 16th birthday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kiker-Warren Funeral Home chapel. The youth had been ill several years.
Officiating will be the Rev. Joe Temple of Abilene. Burial will be in a local cemetery.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Work, 327 Elm St. The family had lived here about 15 months.
The youth was born April 5, 1939, in Odell, La.
In addition to the parents, survivors are four brothers, George Lightfoot of Denver, Colo., J. LB, and Alton Lightfoot of Liberty and Richard Lightfoot of League City; and four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Carpenter of Madison, Ind., Mildred Lightfoot of Liberty and Betty and Patsy Lightfoot of Abilene.
