Kent Allen Newcomb

Kent Allen Newcomb, 46, of Greenville, S. C., formerly of Laurel, was killed in an accidental fall in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday, February 8, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Senitte A. Newcomb; his father, Kimbel S. Newcomb; his maternal grandparents, Buck McMinn and his grandmother, Ann McMinn Lawson.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Dianne Newcomb of Greenville, S.C.; his mother, Dianne Newcomb and his grandmother, Frances Delina Lyon, both of Laurel; son, Zachery Newcomb of Ellisville; and a very special cousin, Ken Walters of Laurel; a number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

As per his wishes, cremation is being handled by National Cremations Services in Charlotte, N.C.
