MRS. KEPPEL ALEXANDER
Funeral services for Mrs. Keppel Alexander, 47, were conducted at 2:30 Thursday afternoon from Erata Presbyterian church with the Rev. W. W. Bagby, Dr. Grayson L. Tucker and the Rev. J. M. Foy officiating. Interment followed in Erata cemetery.
Stricken with a sudden heart attack, she died at her 1354 Roberts street home at 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Born and reared in this section, she was widely known. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
She leaves three daughters, Miss Opal J. Alexander, Laurel; Mrs. Hilton Harvison, Laurel; and Mrs. Earl Smith, Montrose; two sons, Albert D. Alexander, Laurel; and Ezra M. Alexander, Vicksburg; a sister, Mrs. S. F. Blackledge, Homerville, Ga.; two brothers, E. J. McCarty and Hugh McCarty, both of Laurel; four grandchildren.
