DEATHS

MILLUS [sic SMITH] -- Carl Millus [sic Kerr Melous], age 74, died at the family residence, route 3, Alexandria, at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1946. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bell Johnson, Big Creek, La., Mrs. Sadie Dillencbach [sic Dillenback], Dayton, Texas, Mrs. May Braden [sic Mae Brandon], Liberty, Texas, and Mrs. Eddie L. Bakerice [sic Bacarisse], Houston, Texas, and three sons, Jesse and Jack M. Smith, Big Creek, La., and Arthur J. Smith, Liberty, Texas.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Nov. 1, at the Richey Baptist church, Effie, La. Interment under direction of Kramer Funeral Home will be in the Richey cemetery.
