Mr. Kindell Wayne Johns

Kindell Wayne Johns, age 63 of Mooringsport, LA formerly of Winnfield died on Monday, January 12 in the Christus Schumpert-Highland Hospital in Shreveport. He was born in Dodson, LA the son of the late James Walter Johns and Mary Maude Rolen Johns. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and worked as a truck driver.

Mr. Johns is preceded in death by brothers, Junior and J. J. Johns.

Funeral services for Kindell Wayne Johns. were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2004 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield with Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery at Gaarsmill under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., Winnfield.

Kindell Johns is survived by two sons Cody Johns of Gonzales, LA and Jason Johns of Winnfield, LA; one daughter, Ami Johns Brunson of Winnfield; three grandsons Brody and Parker Johns of Gonzales, LA, and Spencer Brunson of Winnfield, LA; two brothers, Sammy Johns of Bossier City, LA and Billy Johns of Jonesboro, LA; three sisters Kathy Breyman and Mary Johns both of Bossier City, LA and Beth Wright of Lynn Haven, FL.

Pallbearers were Chris Johns, Darren Johns, Carleton Johns, Mark Johns, Tony Johns, David Johns, Justin McDonell and Cory Breyman.

Honorary Pallbearer is Colt Transportation Group.
