Kitty Holden

Kitty Evelyn Canfield Holden, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2007, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was a member of Bellefounte Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz Canfield and Helen Spradley Canfield; and three brothers: James Canfield, Joe Canfield and Exel Canfield, all of Moss Pointe, Ms.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, D.K. (Pappy) Holden of Cleveland; three children and their spouses: Danny and Marsha Holden of Cleveland, Mitchell and Gail Holden of Harrison and Shirley and Frank Jaynes of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Lisa Young of Cleveland, Bryan Holden of Athens, Christy Cope of Cleveland, Michael Jaynes of Cookeville, Jeff Holden, Kim Owens and Mathew Jaynes, all of Cleveland; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Ethel Mae Canfield of Moss Point, Miss., and Bailey Taylor of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Monday in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lake Walker officiating.

Her grandsons, Michael Jaynes, Matthew Jaynes, Bryan Holden and Jeff Holden and great-grandson, Christian Jennette, will be serving as pallbearers.
