L. B. Helms, 31, Nolan County, Dies
SWEETWATER, May 24 --(Spl)-- Funeral services for L. B. Helms, 31, were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Church of Christ in Roscoe. Mr. Helms died in a Sweetwater hospital at 2:20 a.m. Monday.
He was a native of Nolan county, having lived near Sweetwater most of his life. His home was at 1103 Lemon at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife and four children, Melvin, Doyle, Wilma Jane and Joyce Nell, all of Sweetwater; four sisters, Mrs. J. A. Williams, Big Spring; Mrs. Joe Pardue, Rotan; Mrs. H. F. Rayburn, and Mrs. C. A. Clifton, Roscoe; and an uncle, E. J. Martin, Maryneal.
S. L. Williams, minister of the Roscoe church officiated and burial was made in Roscoe cemetery with Johnston funeral home directing.
