L.D. Crudup

MARSHALL -- Graveside services for L.D. Crudup, 79, of Marshall will be 2 p.m. today in the Colonial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Melvin D. Welch officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Mr. Crudup died Saturday at his residence following a lengthy illness.

He was born Sept. 20, 1902, in Vivian, La., and attended Jefferson public schools. Mr. Crudup was a systems electrician for Southwestern Power Company from 1924 until 1967. He was a Baptist and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Rachel) Sorrells of Glenwood, Ark., Mrs. Wesley (Mary) Brown of Concord, Calif., and Mrs. Bob (Bennie) Maloney of Marshall; a stepson, Elmo Camponovo Jr. of Corpus Christi; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Hiram J. (Mary) Post of Marshall.
