L. E. Kerr

L. E. Kerr, 54, of Rte. 1 in Bossier City, died Thursday at 7:06 p.m. in his home after a sudden illness.

A native of Olden, Tex., he had resided in Bossier City for five years and was an employe of the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. in Boone Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Jordan, pastor of Hill Crest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery with military rites.

Survivors include his widow; his mother, Mrs. R. A. Kerry of New Haven, Ill.; a stepson, Walter Barron of Napa, Calif.; a daughter, Dalton Kerry of Bossier City; two brothers, Leslie V. Kerr of Cuba, N.M., and Herbert N. Kerr of Concord, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Marie Mosley of Palestine, Tex.
