LaVerne Hilton Oliver
LAKELAND, Fla. -- LaVerne Hilton Oliver, 75, of Lakeland, Fla., died Wednesday at her residence.
She was an administrative assistant with the Central Florida District of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Charles Oliver of Lakeland, Fla., who was a former district superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene with headquarters in Bedford; one son, Charles W. Oliver of St. Pete Beach, Fla.; one sister, Norma Birdwell of Austin, Texas; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bartow First Church of the Nazarene in Bartow, Fla. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home - Southside Chapel in Lakeland, Fla.
