LACEY WAYNE WHITTINGTON

CLARKS, La., Oct. 28. -- (Special) -- Last rites for Lacey Wayne Whittington, six years old, who died at his home here Friday morning after a brief illness, were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Old Bethel Church with the Rev. John Walker, pastor of the Clarks Pentecostal Church, officiating with the assistance of the Rev. Elmer Douglas.

The child is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Whittington; a brother, Jerry Whittington; and two sisters, Johnny Faye and Judy Ann Whittington.

Pallbearers, all classmates of the boy in the first grade at school here, were Thomas Coody, Bobby Ray Russell, Milton Reeves, Junior McBroom, and Jerry Hollaman.

Interment took place in [Old] Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
