Lamar Staten
HOLCOMB -- Funeral services for Lamar Staten, 67, were held 2 p.m. today at National Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Staten, a retired farmer, died Monday at Grenada County Hospital.
He is survived by two sons, John Paul Staten and Robert D. Staten, and his mother, Mrs. Ida Mae Barrett Staten, all of Holcomb; two brothers, Thomas J. Staten of Grenada and Ernest Staten of Holcomb; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Neal of Grenada, Mrs. Myrtle Vernon of Holcomb and Mrs. Helen Sellers of Oakland.
