Laney Willard Lincecum
Funeral services for Mr. Laney W. Lincecum of Tullos will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at New Union Baptist Church in Tullos with Rev. John Bradley and Rev. Tommy Hollis officiating. Interment will follow in the New Union Cemetery in Tullos, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena. The family asks that visitation be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 5pm until 9pm at Hixson Brothers, Jena.
Mr. Lincecum, 74, was born on September 8, 1940 in Georgetown and passed from this life on Monday, July 6, 2015 at his residence in Tullos.
He was a retired millwright with Louisiana Pacific.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Evelyn Sumrall Lincecum of Tullos; sons, Gerry L. Lincecum and wife Brandi of Georgetown and Danny K. Lincecum and wife Tammy of Jena; sisters, Darlene Lofton of Urania and Ollie James of Jena; brother, Micheal Lee Lincecum, Sr. of Tullos; grandchildren, Daniel L. Lincecum, Tonya Barnard, Haley Decker and Catilin Sneed; great grandchildren, Erik Barnard and Laine Lincecum.
He was preceded in death by parents, Dixie Willard and Deloris Lacaze Lincecum; brothers, Norman Lincecum and Ira Hershal Lincecum and grandson, Isaak Barnard.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Lincecum, John Barnard, Dustin Decker, Micheal L. Lincecum, Jr., Mark L. Lincecum and James Beatty.
Honorary pallbearers will be Peck Albritton and James Sumrall, Sr.
