Larry Jackson Haire
Services for Larry Jackson Haire, 75, were held on Aug. 1, 2010 at Rose-Neath Mansfield with Bro. Bobby Russell, pastor of Mitchell Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed at Cassell Cemetery in Converse.
He was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Ajax to Theodore and Hattie Haire and died on July 29, 2010, in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse and Raymond Haire; sisters, Alice Latie and Joyce Florentine; and stepson, Larry C. Golden.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Doris Haire; children, Patsy Tarver, Wayne Haire and Dale Haire; stepchildren, Cindy Stoker, Bonnie Hunter, Leslie Zachies, Roger Golden and Johnny Golden; sisters, Betty Emerson, Tressie Allen, Gracie Wyatt, Dahlia Graves and Agnes Lasky; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
Honoring him as pallbearers were Joseph Tarver, Christopher Haire, Lee Haire, Tyler Grant, Tony Johnson and Kyle Rivers. Honorary pallbearers were Doughlas Ryles and Peck “Paul” Taylor.
