Larry R. Boyett
Mr. Larry Ray Boyett, 71, of Stone Mountain passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010. He was very active in the Masons having served as past Master of the Grant Park Lodge and at the time of his death as District Deputy to the Grand Master of Masons of GA. He also was active in the Yaarab Shrine Temple, and was a past District Commissioner for Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Boyett is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Viva Boyett; son, Steve Boyett; daughters, Penny Boyett and Kris Boyett; grandchildren, Rebecca Early, Austin Boyett, Abby Boyett, Joshua Early, Jonathan Boyett, Hunter Boyett, Allie Boyett; sister, Ann Richards; brothers, Bill Boyett and Chet Boyett.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 20th at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Bill Neal officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Masonic Children's Home, 1417 Nottingham Dr., Macon, GA 31211 or the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Attn: Donations Dept., 950 West Farris Rd., Greenville, SC 29650, in Mr. Boyett's memory.
Friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
