Larry Wayne Hawthorne

Larry W. Hawthorne who was born November 26, 1951 was a husband, dad, paw-paw, son, brother, and friend to all that met him. He was called home to heaven by the Lord during his battle with brain cancer on November 10, 2006. He will truly be missed.

Larry leaves behind his wife, Vicki of 26 years, their son, Nicholas and his wife Victoria and two precious grandbabies, Elicia and Jay C, and a son, Scott and a daughter, Tina. He also leaves behaind his parents, Vernon and Ellouise Hawthorne, and older brother; Charles and his wife Linda, plus many nephews, nieces, cousins, and his special companions: Maggie and AnnaBell.

Larry worked his entire life in the over-head crane business (from age 18 starting as a truck driver, then working his way up the ladder to the electrical shop, then plant supervisor and lastly inspector). Larry had a love for golf and a love for all animals...he finally had his dream come true last year when he purchased a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Larry Wayne Hawthorne died on November 10, 2006. Arrangements under the direction of Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX.
