Mrs. Whittington

WINNSBORO (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Lee Whittington, 81, of Wisner, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. W. D. Grant officiating, assisted by Dr. Randall Sledge.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Whittington died Wednesday morning at Wisner Sanitarium after a long illness.

Survivors include four sons, Frank Whittington, Walter Whittington, both of Ferriday, D. L. Whittington of Tallulah and Lawrence Whittington of Winnsboro; two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Ferrington of Winnsboro and Mrs. Elbert Cain of Eudora, Ark.; 38 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
