Riley, Lauren Elizabeth
Lauren Elizabeth Riley, 19, of Soddy-Daisy, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for the 5-year-old class.
Her grandfathers, James Roy Smith and Bush Riley, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her parents, Chuck and Debbie Riley, Soddy-Daisy; sister, Leslie Riley, Soddy-Daisy; brother, Taylor Riley, Soddy-Daisy; grandmothers, Jean Smith, Hixson, Lucille Riley, Ringgold, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Suzanne and Wallace Tallent, Janet and George Battersby, Caroline and Bob Barnes, Gail Maynor, Carlos Smith; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Painter and the Rev. Charlie Robertson officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Her body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. Monday until the time of the service.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Sunday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
