Mrs. Lavada Kersh

Funeral services for Mrs. Lavada M. Kersh of 2108 Lee Street will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. from Wright & Ferguson Chapel, with the Rev. G. A. McCoy, pastor of Crestview Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Kersh died Sunday Morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Delbert Earl Fincher of Jackson, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Kersh was a native of Ellisville, and a resident of Jackson since early childhood. She was a graduate of Central High School in 1933. Mrs. Kersh was a licensed pra[c]tical nurse and a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Mattie Simmons of Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Catt and Mrs. Delbert Earl Fincher, both of Jackson; one sister, Mrs. David Caldwell of Jackson; and three grandchildren, Richard E. Catt, Jr., Pamela Fincher, and Karen Fincher all of Jackson.

Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
