Lavinia F. Gulledge

Graveside services for Mrs. Lavinia F. Gulledge, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Hasley Cemetery with Rev. Woods Watson officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Gulledge was born November 26, 1921, in Monroe to Sidney and Grace Freeman and passed away Friday, October 15, 2010, at Avalon Place. She lived all of her life in the West Monroe and Monroe area. Mrs. Gulledge was a member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe most of her life.

Mrs. Gulledge was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Gulledge.

Survivors include her son, Ronald H. Stephens and wife Linda of Kilgore, TX; daughter, Janis Babb and husband Rusty of Monroe; six grandchildren, Glenn Stephens and wife Melanie of Longview, TX, Cathy Cheatham and husband Paul of Palestine, TX, Holly Babb of Nacogdoches, TX, Garrett Babb of Monroe, Jennifer McKay and husband Brandon of Kilgore, TX, and Bill Denman of Fredericksburg, VA; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
