Cary

Lawrence E. Cary, 96, of Lincoln, died Jan. 2, 2017. Born Aug. 10, 1920, in Pawnee. Retired City of Lincoln Water Dept. He was a U.S. Army veteran in WWII and the Korean War.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Debra Cary, of Lincoln; brother, Darrell Cary, of Coralville, Iowa; grandchildren, Tracy Jones, of Waverly, Kelly Dallmann, of Spokane Valley, Wash., Shannon Cary, of Lincoln; five great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Edna E., daughter, Lan[n]is and infant sister.
