HENDERSON -- Services for Lawson L. Miller, 71, of Price, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Carter officiating.
Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Henderson.
Mr. Miller died Sunday at Henderson Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 18, 1905 in Winnfield, La. and he lived 46 years in Price. He was a retired pumper for Marathon Oil Co. and a U.S. Army veteran. He also belonged to Carlisle United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Myra Lloyd Kerby of Dallas; two brothers, Walter of Winnfield and Dick of New Iberia, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Oglesby of Monroe, La., Mrs. Modell Whisenant of Baton Rouge, La., and Mrs. Pearl Collins of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
