*The 1900 census gives Leah's birthdate as MAR 1870. However, her tombstone is reported to have the date 10 SEP 1875. Her husband's birthdate in the 1900 census agrees with the date on his tombstone. Leah was not shown in the 1870 census enumerated 19 AUG 1870, but she was in her parent's 1880 household where her age was given as 10 years. Thus, her true birthdate was likely the above date, 10 SEP 1870.
