Lecye M. Schuh, age 76, passed away August 14, 2004.

Lecye was born February 26, 1928 in Dry Prong, Louisiana to Lonnie and Emma (Croom) Maddox. Lecye worked for Sunbeam Family Services. She home sat for a very special person, Maria Farnik. She was her granddaughter's chauffer for her various activities in school. Lecye enjoyed Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and loved to cook and try new recipes. She would hunt armadillos in TX to keep them from her flower bed.

Lecye is survived by her son George Schuh and wife Sherry of Albuquerque, NM; 3 daughters: Cora Lee Cope of Austin, TX, Swanette Smith and husband Buddy of Conroe, TX, Kathy Green and husband George of Choctaw, OK; 8 grandchildren: John Charles, Robert, Paul, Summer, Sunny, Lecye, Meredith, Matthew; brother-in-law Ernie Walker.

Preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, husband: Leonard Schuh, son: John Schuh.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday 8/16/2004 at Greenwood Cemetery in Fredericksburg, TX.
