Lee Boyd

Funeral services for Lee Boyd, 84, of Winnsboro were held on Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment was in Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville with the Rev. Woodson McGuffie and the Rev. Bruce Cardin officiating.

He died on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1989.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Boyd, Winnsboro; six sons, Charles Boyd and Harvey Boyd, both of Winnsboro [sic Sulphur], and James Boyd, Billy Boyd, Wayne Boyd and Johnny Boyd, all of Winnsboro; two daughters, Maxine Mays and Carolyn Boyd, both of Winnsboro; one brother, Henry Boyd, Jena; one sister, Irene Doughty, Jonesville; and 15 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were J. P. Nealy, J. W. Fortenberry, Sidney Ray Ross, Buddy Fortenberry, Buddy Erskin and J. E. Bennett.
