Lee Bell Parker Erskins
(June 20, 1918 - November 7, 2014)

Mrs. Lee Bell Parker Erskins, 96, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Winnfield, LA. Mrs. Erskins was born June 20, 1918 at Sikes, LA to Horace Perciful Parker and Fannie Gates Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Waymon C. Erskins. Also preceding Mrs. Erskins in death were brothers Alvis and Maurice Parker and grandson, Michael Tyron Tirmerello.

She is survived by daughter Shelby Tinnerello and Mike of Winnfield, LA; sons Jerry Erskins and Linda of Sikes, LA and Bobby Erskins and Annette of Dodson, LA; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Erskins was an active member of Hart Assembly of God Church in Sikes where she served her church and community for many years. Her legacy was her devotion to the Lord. She will be missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Services for Mrs. Erskins will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, LA with the Rev. John Trotter and Bro. Danny Green officiating. Burial will follow at Hart Cemetery near Sikes. Visitation will be Saturday, November 8, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Pall bearers will be: Craig Erskins, Steven Gardner, David Herring, Max Dale Smith, Mervin Parker, and David James.
