Lee Elam

REEVES -- Services for Lee Elam will be at 2 p.m. today in Reeves Independent Congregational Church with the Revs. Merv Longenecker and Glen Ducharme officiating. Burial will be in Creel Memorial Gardens under dire[c]tion of Rush, Oakdale.

Elam, 82, of Reeves died Saturday, March 11, 1995, in Allen Parish Hospital, Kinder.

He was a lifelong resident of Reeves and a member of Masonic Lodge, Kinder. He was a member of the boards of Creel Memorial Gardens and Allen Parish Hospital and a past delegate to the Democratic Central Committee of Louisiana. He was a member of Reeves Independent Congregational Church.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Elam and Jerry Elam, both of Reeves; one daughter, Georgia Beth Elam Fruge of Reeves; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service in the church.

Memorials may be made to Creel Memorial Gardens Cemetery Fund.
