Lee Houston Weaver, an actor, formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., now in Lincoln, was to have had a hearing Tuesday in Governor Bryan's office on a requisition from the governor of Minnesota charging him with child abandonment on complaint of his former wife, Dorothy Mignon Weaver. Secretary Porterfield said the hearing had been postponed until next Tuesday. Weaver had given bond for his appearance. The complaint alleges that Weaver left Minneapolis in June, 1932, stating that he would not be heard from again. Since then he is alleged to have contributed $10 for the support of his 4 year old son. The couple were married in New York and soon moved to Minneapolis and have since been divorced, it was alleged.
