LEE LLOYD
Funeral services for Lee Lloyd of 1120 N. Adams, 92, who died Sunday in his home, will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel of the Fossett Funeral Home.
The Rev. Hollis Morris, a friend of the family, will officiate and burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
Lloyd was born in Ozark, Ark., Aug. 22, 1880, and operated a variety store in Van Buren, Ark., until 1917, when he moved to a farm west of Enid. He then operated Lloyd's Grocery Store at 1103 N. Grand until 1948.
Lloyd had been paralyzed for the past eight and a half years.
His first wife, Daisy Lynch, died Sept. 30, 1937, and he and Nellie Fite were married June 18, 1950 in Enid and she survives. He is also survived by a brother, Ebb Lloyd of Van Buren; several nieces and nephews. Three brothers preceded him in death.
Lloyd was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
