Lee Merle ``Sonnie'' Emmons Jr.

Lee Merle ``Sonnie'' Emmons Jr., age 51, died Thursday, March 26 at his residence in Broussard, La. He was an electrician who loved working on electronics. He also enjoyed playing pool and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Spell Emmons of Broussard; a son, Nathan Lee Emmons of Bogalusa; a brother, David (Cindy) Emmons of Slidell; a sister, Connie (H. F.) Erwin of Tylertown, Miss.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Merle Sr. and Naomi Husser Emmons and a sister, Belinda Emmons.

Visitation began after 10 a.m. on Saturday at Crain Funeral Home and continued until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Stan Statham officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bogalusa.
