WILSON, LEE ROY

Died 3:15 a.m. Sunday, March 15, 1987 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 83, a native of Franklin County, Miss. and resident of Prairieville. He was a retired cattleman. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services, 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Joe Hammack. Burial in Greenoaks Cemetery.

Survived by wife, Bessie Freeman Wilson, Prairieville; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Knapp Wyble, Thelma Daquanno and Lillie Ingles; three sons, Richard and Roy Wilson, both of Baton Rouge, and Earl Wilson, Prairieville; four sisters, Lela Waldrop, Lonie Pickering, Agnes Hall and Mattie Johnson; two brothers, Leonard and Lester Wilson; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents; a brother; two sisters; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Carol Daquanno Jr., Randall Daquanno, Aubrey Lowery, David Jr., Brian and Scott Wilson. She [sic He] was of the Baptist faith.
