Mrs. Ellen A. Crum Passes At Gloster Home
Mrs. Ellen Anders Crum, 66, passed away Tuesday, April 22, at her home near Gloster. Mrs. Crum had been ill about five weeks.
Funeral services for this beloved matron were held Wednesday, April 23, from Mt. Vernon Methodist church with Rev. J. Early Gray, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Linus Anders, nephew of the deceased lady. Interment was in Mt. Vernon cemetery, with grandsons of Mrs. Crum serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include four sons, H. L. and Marvin Crum of Gloster; H. E. Crum, Baton Rouge, La., and Hollis Crum, Magnolia; five daughters, Mrs. Dora Whittington, Mrs. Susie Dowling, Mrs. T. A. Jackson, Mrs. W. C. Byrd, Mrs. Edwin Jackson, all of Gloster; a number of grandchildren and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
