Mrs. Lelia Kiper

Funeral services for Mrs. Lelia Humphries Kiper, 92, formerly of Gilbert, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church of Gilbert with the Rev. Ruth Holly officiating.

Burial will be in Oakley Cemetery of Gilbert.

Mrs. Kiper died Sunday at Roseview Nursing Center, Shreveport, after a long illness.

Mrs. Kiper was a native of Gilbert but resided in Shreveport for the last 15 years. She was a member of the Mangham Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Courtney L. Kiper of Baton Rouge and Lee R. Kiper of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Gilmore of Shreveport and Mrs. Marguerite Holloway of Hawthorne, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Duboin of New Iberia, Mrs. Barbara Yates of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Bertha Harkey of Vancourver, [sic Vancouver] B.C. Canada; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
