MRS. STEVE SIMS
BAY SPRINGS, Miss. -- Mrs. Steve Sims, 75, Rt. 2, Louin, widow of former Jasper County Supervisor, died unexpectedly Sunday at Jasper General Hospital. She was born in Jasper County and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 3 p.m.Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church with the Revs. L. R. Massey and Dan Jones officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Memory Chapel of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are six daughters: Mrs. P. B. Kyle, Mrs. Taylor Sims, both of Jackson; Mrs. J. P. Read, Ocean Springs; Mrs. J. R. Morgan, Santa Fe, N.M.; Mrs. S. H. Johnson, Laurel; and Mrs. Bennie Jones of Richmond, Va.; six sons: Haskel, Coyt, Corbett and Toby Sims of Bay Springs; Coburn Sims, Jackson and Stevie Sims of Memphis, Tenn.; 32 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Ada Jordan, Mrs. Ethel Dawkins, both of Rt. 2, Louin; Mrs. Lela Montgomery, Louin; and one brother, Walter Shoemaker of Louin.
