Lennie T. McCarta
Funeral services for Lennie T. McCarta, 78, of Winnsboro were
held Sunday at the chapel of Community Memorial with the Rev.
Ron Ferrington officiating.
Interment followed at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under
the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home Winnsboro.
Mrs. McCarta died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002 at Franklin Medical
Center. She was a native and resident of Franklin Parish, a
homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children, Cleo McCarta, Winnsboro; Lois
R. White and William McCarta, both of Gilbert; brother, J. Neal
Thornhill, Winnsboro; sisters, Polly Bower, Ruston; Vera Newson,
Winnsboro; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Doug Foy, Ronnie Lord, John Keeler, Kevin
Kirtland, Mark Choat, and Jay McCarta.
