CARTHAGE -- Services for Lennox K. Bird Jr., 66, of McKinney, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Oddfellows Cemetery in Carthage with Rev. Don Scott officiating.

Mr. Bird died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at his home. He was born on June 21, 1939, in Kilgore to Lennox K. ``Buddy'' Bird Sr. and Frances Gilliland Bird. He graduated from Carthage High School and from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in accounting in 1962.

Survivors include his father, L.K. Buddy Bird Sr., of Carthage; his wife, Judy Bird of McKinney; two sons, Mitch and Jason Bird of McKinney; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to any hospice organization.
