Mrs. Lenora Lee

Mrs. Lenora Lee of Route 1, Coats, a native of Johnston County, died unexpectedly Wednesday at her home following a period of declining health. Mrs. Lee was 78 years of age.

Mrs. Lee was a daughter of the late Primrose and Eliza Johnson. She was the widow of Seth Lee.

She was a member of Hickory Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

The funeral was scheduled for Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Rose Funeral Chapel with the Rev. A. Howard Beard and Elder W. D. Barbour officiating and interment following in the Lee Family Cemetery.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. D. Dixon of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Emery Engen of Willoughby, Ohio, Mrs. C. K. Denning of Raleigh, Mrs. E. B. Langdon of Route 2, Angier; two sons, M. P. Lee of Route 1, Coats, and Seth Lee Jr. of Richmond, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Gertie Johnson of Route 2, Dunn, Mrs. Bertha J. Parrish and Mrs. Mamie Copeland of Route 2, Benson, Mrs. Roland Parker of Route 1, Newton Grove; a brother, Norman Johnson of Route 2, Benson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
