Mrs. Lenora Prather
Mrs. Lenora Phyllis Spradley Prather, 73, of 2112 21st St., Gulfport, died Friday morning at 10:45 o'clock at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where she had been a patient for one week.
Mrs. Prather was born Jan. 1, 1900, in Fountainebleau, Miss., and lived for most of her life on the Coast. She was a member of Burton Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence C. Prather, Gulfport; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Guidara, California; Mrs. Bettie Williams, New York; Mrs. June Bradley, Houston, Tex.; and Mrs. Myrna Moubray, Gulfport; three sons, Winfred Prather and Chester Prather, Gulfport; and James Prather, San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Page, Pascagoula; and Mrs. Aslean Dickerson, Harrisonburg, Pa.; two brothers, Curtis Spradley, Gulfport, and Harold Spradley, Orlando, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call this evening after 7 o'clock at Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport.
The body will be taken to Burton Memorial Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 where it will lie in state until service time at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Raymond Wesson, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens.
