Final Rites Friday For Mrs. Leo Green

DAYTON -- Final rites for Mrs. Leo Green of the Kenefick community were held at 4 p.m. Friday, October 2, in the Sterling Funeral Chapel with Rev. J. P. Brownlee, pastor of the Kenefick Baptist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Green, 63, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, October 1, in Dayton Memorial Hospital.

A native of Little Creek, La., she had resided in Kenefick the past 45 years and was a member of the Kenefick Baptist Church.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Dovie DeWees of Dayton; two grandsons, Gilbert Green and Johnny Green of Kenefick; one granddaughter, Betty Jo Green of Kenefick and two great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home. Pallbearers were R. L. Alexander, D. K. Thornton, Lloyd Thornton, Dale Batchelor, Leroy Parker and Verlon I. Moore.
