Leola Williamson
Funeral services for Mrs. Leola ``Sis'' McIntyre Williamson, 85 ,of Baskin, LA will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Prentis Gandy and Dr. Bill Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mrs. Williamson was born October 30, 1922 in Baskin, LA and passed away Monday November 19, 2007 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Winnsboro. She was a resident of Baskin, a homemaker, a good mother to everyone, and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in Death by: father-John Lee McIntyre, mother-Roxie Ann (Whittington) McIntyre, son-Jimmy E. Williamson, granddaughter-Kaye Crabtree, 2 brothers-Pete McIntyre and Shorty McIntyre.
Survivors include: husband-Virdus Williamson of Baskin; eight children-John A. Williamson and wife Audrey of Baskin, James E. Williamson and wife Joyce of Rayville, Charles R. Williamson and wife Martha of Baskin, Tilda Crabtree and husband Bobby of Mangham, Rudy Long and husband Buddy of Baskin, Melvin E. Williamson and wife Pam of Baskin, Lynn E. Williamson and wife Silvia of Rayville, Marvin W. Williamson and wife Hope of West Monroe; one sister Donnis Ezell of Gilbert; five brothers-Lennis M. ``Coop'' McIntyre of Bastrop, James W. ``Man'' McIntyre of Jigger, William E. ``Ball'' McIntyre of Gilbert, Willie O. ``T.D.'' McIntyre of Andrews, Texas, John A. ``Big Bud'' McIntyre of Rayville.
She was also survived by 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and host of nieces and nephews.
The Pallbearers will be David Williamson, Ronnie Williamson, Danny Williamson, Curtis Williamson, Brad Williamson, Clint Williamson, and Dennis Williamson. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Floyd Warren, Larry Jackson, Trey Tumenello, Don Smith, Leon McIntyre, Gary Weatherly, and Jimmy Winstead.
