FORMER McCOMB WOMAN DIES AT HOME IN GOOSE CREEK, TEXAS
Funeral services for Mrs. L. G. Lambright, age 72, of Goose Creek, Texas, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the East McComb Baptist church of which she was a member. Mrs. Lambright succumbed at her home in Goose Creek on Monday night, following an illness of several months.
The obsequies were conducted by the Rev. J. A. Taylor of Brookhaven and burial followed in the Rose Hill cemetery.
A former resident of McComb, Mrs. Lambright had made her home in Goose Creek for about eight years. She was well known and loved by many in this section and sorrowing friends extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
She leaves four daughters, Mrs. A. W. Day of Houston, Texas; Mrs. C. A. Byers of Clyde, North Carolina; Mrs. A. D. Raley, of Jackson; Miss Velma Lambright, of Goose Creek; three sons, A. C. Lambright of the U.S. Marines, stationed at Fall Brook, California; Ralph and Lewis Lambright, of Goose Creek; seven grandchildren, among whom is Roger L. Lambright, who is in the Air Corps, stationed at Greenville.
