PERRY, MRS. LEONA WHITTINGTON

Died Saturday, June 25, 1983, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. She was 85, a native of Meadville, Miss., a former resident of Springfield, and resident of Denham Springs.

Visiting at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dewey Bernard. Burial in Carter Cemetery, Springfield.

Survived by a son, Don Perry, Slidell; a daughter, Mrs. Erma Lee Rector, New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. May Bell Causey, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Nellie Flynn, Greenwell Springs, and Mrs. Estelle Causey, Meadville, Miss.; two brothers, Jessie Whittington, Denham Springs, and D. C. Whittington, Port Vincent; and five grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Adam Perry.
