Leonard N. Guthrie
He was 77, a native of Urbana, Ohio, and resident of Baton Rouge. He died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a retired sales consultant with Allied Van Lines. He was an Air Force veteran, having served as a military policeman stationed in Frankfurt, Germany.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. until memorial services at 10 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Maxa R. Guthrie; daughter, Traci Lee Guthrie; son, Michael R. Guthrie and wife Dawn M. Guthrie; stepson, Bill Sibley and wife Debbie; sister, Wyn Burgel; and nine grandchildren, William Lance Sibley, Jason Allen Sibley, Allison Lynn Sibley, Keve Smith, Robin Jochim, Nora Micole Guthrie, Xzander Michael, Elena Navarro and Brianna Weatherly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Guthrie and Ruby Greene.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.
