KERRVILLE -- Services for Leonard Hyde, 87, of Bandera, who died Monday in a Kerrville hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera.

Burial will follow in Bandera Cemetery.

Born Dec. 9, 1903 in Kerr County, Mr. Hyde had been a resident of Bandera since 1938. He was a retired rancher and farmer and a member of Woodmen of the World. He married Frances Secrest Oct. 5, 1927, in Kerrville. She died Jan. 8, 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Warren Hyde of Bandera and Bruce Hyde of Austin; seven sisters, Lucille Walter, Jackie Ahrens and Millie and Ellie Cobb, all of Kerrville, Margaret White of Blanco, Irene Meyers of Sonora and Frances Trimble of San Antonio; one brother, Earl Hyde of Mountain Home; six grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
