Leslie V. Wallace Rites Conducted

CLARENDON, Aug. 26 -- Graveside funeral services for Leslie V. Wallace, 53, of Amarillo, were conducted today in Citizens Cemetery, with the Rev. W. F. Vanderburg officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.

Mr. Wallace died Friday in Shreveport, La.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Hays of Amarillo and Mrs. Gene [sic Jean] Wise of Shongaloo, La.; two sons, Vernon Lee Wallace of Plainview and Dean Wallace of Dallas; his mother, Mrs. Anna Wallace of Plain Pealing, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Sybil Abernathy [sic Abanatha] and Mrs. Essie Wesson, both of Plain Dealing; three brothers, L. B. and Claude of Plain Dealing and Roy Wallace of Memphis, Tenn., and five grandchildren.
