Lesper ``Pat'' McCarty

Lesper ``Pat'' McCarty, 87 of DeRidder, passed away on Sunday January 24, 2010 at Westwood Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Lesper ``Pat'' McCarty will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 11a.m. at First Baptist Church, Reverend Lindsey Burns will officiate. Interment will follow at Lewis Cemetery under the direction of Chaddick Funeral Home of DeRidder.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 25, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. at Chaddick Funeral Home and will also be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 9 a.m until time of service at First Baptist Church.

Mrs. McCarty is survived by one daughter, Lynn Smith and husband Bill of DeRidder La., one son, Jim McCarty and wife Debbie of DeRidder, La., eight grandchildren, Mark McCarty, Katie McCarty, Paul McCarty, Randy Smith, Adam McCarty, Mike Smith, Kari McCarty and Hank Smith, nine great grandchildren and two sisters, Geneva Dukes of Baton Rouge, La., and Louise Fletcher of Lake Charles, La. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mervin McCarty and her son Johnny McCarty.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
