FRANCIS, Lessie Lee
Lessie L. Francis, 85, of Jena, died at 9:10 p.m., Friday, February 6, 1998,
in LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena.
She was a homemaker.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Craig James officiating.
Burial followed in the Hair Cemetery near Jena under direction of Hixson
Brothers, Inc., of Jena.
Survivors include two daughters, Orva Lynn Boyd of Jena and Cynthia Bryan
of Vidallia; three step-daughters, Hazel Hopson of Jena, Joyce Baker of
Pineville and Madis Voinche of Marksville; two step-sons, Edgar Francis of
Jena and Charles Francis of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren and a
number of step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sonny Smith, Billy Smith, Burl Clark, Johnny Hutchins, Doc
Eubanks and Douglas Powell.
