Joint Services for Mother, Daughter

OAKDALE, La. -- Joint funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today for Mrs. Marjorie Elaine Parker of Moss Bluff and her mother, Mrs. Lessie V. Perkins of Oakdale in the Ardoin Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Raymond Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Parker, 40, died Monday at 10 a.m at her residence in Moss Bluff. She was a native of Oakdale.

Survivors include her husband, Malcolm Parker of Moss Bluff; one son, Rickey Parker of Oakdale; three daughters, Lessie Lee Parker, Kathy Parker and Sherry Parker of Moss Bluff; one brother, C. J. Seals of Indiana, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Perkins, 65, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday at her residence in Oakdale.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Crow and Mrs. Essie Richmond of Oakdale, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
